Dave Wilkins is a self-taught digital
artist who, after working various odd jobs, is now in high demand from
big name clients such as Midway Entertainment and Marvel Comics. I can’t
say I’m surprised as each one of Wilkins’ creations hits your eyes so
hard with artistic flair that they’re impossible to ignore. He combines
fantasy elements with the exaggerated anatomical and facial aesthetics
of the comic book world to create his own brand of ridiculously
appealing visuals. Simply put, the man can pretty much make anything
look awesome.
There never used to be “wardrobe malfunctions” at sporting events. You know why? Because athletes used to wear clothes from head to toe. Consider the famous running scene in Rocky . The Italian Stallion goes sprinting through the old neighborhood and up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art in a thick gray sweatsuit. Long sleeves, full-length pants.
