1975 Back in 1975, American photographer  Nicholas Nixon  captured by his camera general portrait of the four sisters, among whom was his wife Bibi. From the moment the picture was to make an annual tradition.  In total, the project eventually lasted exactly thirty-six years. At the time of the first shot, the youngest of the sisters, Mimi, was fifteen years old. And at the time of the last photo, the eldest sister, Bibi, was already 61. The series is called "Brown Sisters" These photos can not be considered highly artistic. However, the project itself is quite interesting to observe how the maturation.  Rihanna was kicked out of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi after posing for an photo shoot. The photos - 10 in total taken by Gomillion and Leupold - landed on the "Pour It Up" singer's Instagram page, which has been quite popular with the authorities lately. The pop star, covered up head-to-toe in a black Hijab and jumpsuit, posed sitting on the white marble of the compound, sprawled out by a fountain and in front of the mosque's 82 domes. She was asked to leave when some of her poses were deemed inappropriate for the "status and sanctity of the mosque," reports the AP. The singer was in town for a show at Abu Dhabi's du Arena on Saturday. The mosque, a major tourist attraction in the UAE capital, released a statement on RiRi's visit to local papers on Monday. Yahoo! Finance/Discovery Channel - Kellie Nightlinger and Erroll James Snyder in Discovery Channel's new reality show, "Naked and Afraid". Discovery Channel is baring it all for its new survival series. Several other reality survival series have already tested participants’ ability to hunt and create shelter. Discovery chose to up the ante, dropping cast members into remote, wild locations–completely nude. The show is sure to test the limits of what the public will accept from reality shows.

 Goose pulling is an old sport originally played in parts of the Netherlands, Belgium, England and North America from the 17th to the 19th centuries. The sport involves a goose that is hung by its legs from a pole or rope that is stretched across a road. A man riding on horseback at a full gallop would attempt to grab the bird by the neck in order to pull the head off. Whoever makes off with the head is declared winner and becomes the noble hero of the day. Goose pulling is still practiced today, in parts of Belgium and in Grevenbicht in the Netherlands as part of Shrove Tuesday and in some towns in Germany as part of the Shrove Monday celebrations. Skype has somewhere around 250 employees in the Palo Alto area and neede to renovate their current space to be something more work-friendly and enjoyable. To do this, they hired Blitz, who has this to say about the project:  “Skype’s primary goal was to create a world-class office that would differentiate them from their Bay Area competitors in the recruitment of talent. The project entailed a tenant improvement of 54,000 square feet of existing office space to support 250 employees involved in high technology development. The space reflects Skype’s spirit of innovation in a highly functional yet creative workplace designed to encourage interaction and spontaneity, as well as meet specific acoustic requirements in support of their extensive use of AV. In the futuristic project Google Glass, dedicated to innovative augmented reality glasses co-founder Sergey Brin is regularly seen in public, wearing one of the neat working prototypes. In particular, he recently boasted these glasses in the subway. But not so simple the company, as it was known at the moment  Google is interested in the opportunity to build its own airport. Chinese man builds Noah’s Ark for preparing for end of the World The Doomsday date of December 21, 2012 has people all over the world nervous in anticipation. One man in China has even spent his life savings to build a modern “Noah’s Ark” just in case the devastation includes massive flooding. The ark is designed by Chinese inventor Liu Qiyuan, in Xianghe, Hebei province. Liu, who has spent 1.8 million yuan ($288,000) on building six “Noah’s Ark”s in 8 months with the help of his former furniture factory’s workers, is working on his seventh pod. The 17 cubic-metre volume vessels were built to serve as lifeboats in the event of earthquakes, tsunamis and floods. If there is a world after 21 December the engineer plans to use the boat as a tourist attraction. So, another stop when you are able to visit China.

I don't know if you've figured this out by now, but I'm a fan of large breasts. Are those the only kind I enjoy? No. Is it a crime? Of course not, but we're living in a day and age where if I say something like that aloud, I get stones thrown at me. More and more dudes are claiming to like smaller breasts, which is fine. Time: The indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole.  With THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY coming out next week, I've been reminiscing other epically fantastical adventure films, filled with story and characters from cinema history. It wasn't too long before THE PRINCESS BRIDE came to mind, since it was one of the first live-action films to be told like a storybook (literally) I saw as a kid. I went ahead and watched it again, totally not remembering the actress who played Buttercup. I'm not sure how many have closely followed her career ever since, but when I looked it up, I was quite impressed with her body... of work that is. So let's go on a journey through time that will keep us on the edge of our seats, and visit the Princess Bride, herself, Robin Wright .

Mallakhamb is an ancient Indian sport which originated as a complementary exercise for wrestling, but is now practiced as a sport in itself. The name is a combination of the words malla, which means athlete or strong man, and khamba, which means pole. Athletes perform a variety of yogic and gymnastic poses while suspended from a rope or on a pole. The Yenisei River powers Russian heavy industry and carves picturesque vistas as it flows over 3000 miles from Mongolia through Siberia before emptying out into the Arctic Ocean. Reuters photographer Ilya Naymushin documents much of the life on the river from his base in Krasnoyarsk, a city of nearly a million at the intersection of the Yenisei and the Trans-Siberian railroad. Crews at the Peak Farms in Jefferson, North Carolina, will harvest nearly 65,000 Christmas trees this season. North Carolina has 1,500 Christmas tree growers with nearly 50 million Fraser Fir Christmas trees on over 35,000 acres. The farm also provide a 19-foot Fraser fir to the White House.
