Karan Deol will soon be making his Bollywood debut.
Known as the man with the dhai kilo ka haath, Sunny Deol is the eldest
son of actor Dharmendra. The curly haired Sunny made his Bollywood debut
with Betaab opposite Amrita Singh and won the Filmfare Best Actor Award
nomination with his very first film.
Following this, Sunny went on to act in many action movies like Arjun,
Dacait, Yateem and Tridev, to name a few and his impressive physique and
screen presence soon marked him as an action hero. Deol also teamed up
with Rajkumar Santoshi for films like Ghayal, Ghatak and Damini, which
earned him rave reviews.
Sunny made his directorial debut with Dillagi, in which he starred with his brother Bobby Deol and Urmila Matondkar.
Deol played the role of a Sikh truck driver in Anil Sharma's Gadar, a
cross-border epic romance, which was a major block-buster and earned the
actor a Filmfare Best Actor award.
After Gadar, Sunny played a Sikh once more in comedy flick Yamla Pagla
Deewana, which also starred his father Dharmendra and brother Bobby
Deol.
Known for maintaining a low profile in the media, Sunny will be next
seen in Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 and Ghayal Returns, apart from Bhaiyyaji
Superhit and Singh Saheb The Great.
On the occasion of his birthday, we wish the Bollywood's 'He-Man' a very happy and prosperous life.
